Mapping the Ecosystem

In order to unlock our region’s wealth of capital and other resources, and to develop networks of collaboration, the Georgia Social Impact Collaborative (“GSIC” or the “Collaborative”) is launching the region’s first ever Social Impact Mapping Initiative (“SIMI”).

An essential first step is to construct a comprehensive and interactive map to clearly identify the region’s resources and relationships. The result will be a detailed network map of our social enterprise ecosystem.

By collecting and coordinating a wide breadth of information, the mapping project will focus on building an open access database that will be available to both investors and social entrepreneurs, and will serve as a dynamic tool for anyone seeking to engage in social impact investing in our market.

Ultimately, the network will be designed to connect, communicate and cultivate a robust pipeline of investment opportunities and to establish key partnerships necessary to drive social impact deal flow.
